When the letter you want is displayed,
press the ¢ button.
To enter more letters in the name, repeat
steps 3 - 5.

When the disc name has been completely
entered,
press
F.PLAY button.

If an incorrect letter is entered:
To erase a character:
Press the 4 or ¢ button to move the
cursor to the character you want to erase,
and then press the BASS/DELETE button.
To correct a character:
Press the 4 or ¢ button to move the
cursor to the character you want to correct,
and then enter the correct character.
Even after all the letters have been en-
tered, you can still go back and correct
any mistakes.
When you want to enter lowercase
letter:
Enter capital letters as described in step 4
and press the DISP button to change them
to the lowercase letters.
If you press this button again, the letters
will be changed back to capital letters.
To enter a space:
Press the + or – button to select "SPACE".
Then, press the ¢ button to enter a
space.

Track name
Up to 100 characters can be entered for
each name.

Play the track which you want to name,
and press the 38 button.
The unit will enter the pause mode.

Press the EDIT/AUTO MARK button to
select "Tr NAME".
When "Tr NAME" is selected whilst in
the stop mode, track numbers can be
changed using the 4 or ¢ button.

Press the ENTER/SYNC/F.PLAY but-
ton.
The unit will enter the character input
mode.
To cancel the operation, press the
/ OFF button.

Perform steps 3 - 5 in the "Disc name"
section.

When the track name is completely en-
tered, press the ENTER/SYNC/F.PLAY
button.
