Combining two tracks
The following procedure shows you how to combine two tracks into a single track. It is also possible to
combine more than two tracks or a piece of music composed of several tracks into a single track. After the
two tracks have been combined, the track numbers after them will be adjusted automatically.
Before starting MD editing, be sure to cancel the pro-
gram mode by pressing the PGM key in stop mode.
Execute operation in play or pause mode.

Play the first of the two tracks to be combined.
÷ The track selected in step 3 will be appended at the end of the track selected in step 1.

Select " 3 COMBINE ?".

Press the TRACK EDIT key repeatedly until "3
COMBINE ?" is selected. (Pressing the key in
the middle of playback initiates pause)

Set it.

Select the second of the tracks to be combined.

Select the track number.

To decrease
track No.

Set it.

Execute the track combine operation.

After execution, press the 0 MD key to eject the disc.

It is not permitted to combine two tracks which are
recorded in different recording modes.
Each press switches the operation.
