OVERVIEW

NetVanta 3305

The NetVanta 3305 is a modular access router designed for cost-effective branch office connectivity over
MPLS, Frame Relay, multilink Frame Relay, point-to-point (PPP), multilink PPP, or Ethernet networks.
For VPN applications using the NetVanta 3305, the optional NetVanta VPN Accelerator Card provides
encryption/decryption and security acceleration services. Refer to Installing the NetVanta VPN Accelerator
Card (included in P/N 4200368L1) on page 70.
This section includes a list of features, a list of shipping contents, and a description of the unit's front and
rear panel designs. For hardware installation topics such as mounting the unit and installing option cards,
