9. Separate the keyboard/top cover (2) from the display assembly.
NOTE:
L97423-001, L97422-001, or L98324-001. These display assemblies are "hinge up" spare part
assemblies and should not be disassembled.
10. If it is necessary to replace the display bezel or any of the internal display components, follow these steps:
a. Remove the display assembly.
b. Flex the inside edge of the display bezel top edge (1) up and away from the display panel.
c. Flex the inside edges of the display bezel left (2) and right edges (3) out and away from
the display panel.
d. Use a case utility tool (4) or similar thin plastic tool to detach the display bezel bottom edge from the
display panel. (The display bezel is attached to the display panel with double-sided adhesive.)
e. Flex the inside edge of the display bezel bottom edge (5) down and away from the display panel.
