Release the display panel cable and the webcam/microphone module cable from the retention clips (6)

built into the left fan.

Remove the four Phillips M2.5×5.0 screws that secure the display assembly to the keyboard/top cover.

Swing the front edge of the keyboard/top cover (1) up and away from the display assembly.

(The keyboard/top cover disengages from the display assembly hinges.)
