7. Place child in High-back Booster
Car Seat with child's back and rump
contacting seating surfaces
(Fig. 87a).
8. Pull the vehicle lap/shoulder belt across
front of child and under both armrests.
Buckle vehicle seat belt.
- Vehicle shoulder belt on buckle side
must be under armrest.
- Position vehicle lap belt under
armrests and low on hips, contacting
top of thighs.
- Position vehicle shoulder
belt across chest and
shoulder (Fig. 87b).

9. Adjust Head Support so that the vehicle
shoulder belt passes over the shoulder
midway between the neck and the end
of the shoulder. The Booster Shoulder
Belt Guide in the Head Support should
be just above the child's shoulders.
10. Snugly adjust the vehicle lap/shoulder
belt according to the instructions in the
vehicle owner's manual. Vehicle lap
belt must stay under both armrests.
