5.0 Installation and Use

5.21 Canopy Opening and Closing

1. To open canopy, grasp, forward canopy hoop
at the center and pull to fully open position
(Fig. 63a).
NOTE: the canopy ratchets and locks into
position.
2. To close canopy, grasp, at center and push
to close.

5.22 Harness Center Tension Adjuster

1. To tighten the harness system, pull on
harness adjuster to tighten harness straps to
a snug fit (Fig. 63b).
FIT NOTE: A snug strap should not allow
any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line
without sagging. It does not press on to the
child's skin or push the child's body into an
unnatural position.
2. To loosen harness system, Loosen harness
straps by pressing the Harness Tension
Adjuster Button 1 and pulling the Harness
straps toward you 2 (Fig. 63c).

5.23 LATCH Top Tether and Lower Anchor J-Hook
1. When not in use the Top Tether
and Lower Anchor J-Hook has a
storage location (Fig. 58a).
2. Lower Anchor J-Hook has an
option storage position under the
cupholders.

5.24 Changing LATCH Lower Anchor J-Hook use Positions

1. To move Lower Anchor J-Hook from
forward-facing use to rear-facing
Unclip Lower Anchor J-Hook from
storage position that is next to the top
tether storage (Child's left side) (1).
