ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.
USE CARE WHEN UNPACKING AS COMPONENTS TO
BE ASSEMBLED MAY POSE A SMALL PARTS/SHARP
EDGE HAZARD.
BATTERY ALREADY INSTALLED IN VEHICLE.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Attach the plastic drop to the hood, as shown
in the figure.
2 • Apply the stickers to the special areas on the
front headlights.
3 • Position the headlight glass by attaching the
outer side.
4 • Press as shown in the figure to snap the glass
into place.
5 • Repeat this step for the other front headlight.
6 • Position one of the two parts of the weight on
the front of the tractor.
7 • Join the other part of the weight by pressing
the two parts together.
8 • Press the side inserts into place on the body.
9 • Press the ring nut into place under the steering
wheel.
10 • Push the steering column through the bottom
of the tractor to the upper part of the body.
11 • Hold the column in place and slip the steering
wheel onto it.
12 • Fasten the steering wheel with its screw and
nut, being careful to insert the screw into the
circular hole and to screw the nut onto the
hexagonal part.
13 • Apply the stickers to the special areas on the
rear headlights as shown in the figure.
14 • Attach the headlights by pressing from the
bottom upwards.
15 • Remove the seat support.
16 • Unscrew the knobs on the bottom of the seat.
17 • Line the seat up with the two holes on the seat
support.
18 • The seat can be adjusted to 2 positions to suit
the height of the child (see figure).
19 • After adjusting the seat, tighten the 2 knobs
that hold it in place.
20 • Reposition the seat support on the body of the
tractor and tighten the 2 screws.
21 • Position the roll bar (see figure).
22 • Push the roll bar all the way in.
23 • Tighten the 2 lock screws.
24 • Press the gas tank cap into place on the back of
the tractor.
25 • Insert the plugs in the handlebar.
26 • Insert and fit the handlebar with the screws
provided.
27 • Place the bucket block on the shovel, arranging
the pieces as shown in diagram A. Fasten the
pieces together with screws and nuts, working
with the supplied wrench and a screwdriver
from the side shown in the figure.
28 • Partially insert the second screw on the
opposite side, to make it easier to carry out the
next operation.
29 • Insert the spring into the hole in the bucket
block. Turn the spring while pressing
downward (see side diagram).
30 • Push the screw into the spring. Place a washer
and a nut on the screw, following the order
shown in the diagram.
31 • Tighten the screw, using the supplied wrench
and a screwdriver.
32 • Slip the bucket drawstring through the special
hole on the shovel.
33 • Place a stud in the special tool that comes with
the toy, as shown in the diagram.
34 • Fasten the bucket drawstring by pressing the
stud all the way in.
35 • Using the two wrenches, fasten one of the two
lock nuts on the bucket drawstring, as shown in
the figure.
36 • Slip out the bucket drawstring with the washer
(A), taking care not to lose it.
37 • Loosen the two safety screws from the sides of
the cab, and remove the two plastic disks (save
the disks for putting the cab back on).
38 • Press the two buttons and at the same time
widen the cab to detach it, as shown in the
figure.
39 • Lift the cab off.
40 • Position the cab and hook it to the bucket
block.
41 • NO: The cab is not fastened.
OK: The cab is correctly fastened.
42 • Move the cab to line up the two openings on
its sides with the openings on the bucket block.
43 • Replace the drawstring (with the washer) you
removed before, passing it out the opposite
part of the cab.
44 • Fasten the drawstring with the second washer
and the nut removed before.
45 • Tighten the nut using the two wrenches
supplied with the toy, as shown in the figure.
46 • Connect the battery plug to the electrical
system.
47 • Reposition the cab by inserting the front hook
into the opening on the bottom of the tractor
(see detail).
48 • Slightly widen the cab, and lower it to its
original position.
49 • Replace the two plastic disks and fasten
everything down with the screws.
VEHICLE FEATURES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
50 • GEAR SHIFT LEVER. The vehicle has 3 speeds.
ATTENTION: when the vehicle is taken out of
the packing, it runs only in first gear and
reverse gear. To use the second speed, follow
the instructions in figure 51.
51 • Loosen the lock screw for the second speed
(fig. A). Turn the lock screw to the next notch
(fig. B), and tighten it. All of the gears are now
ready for use.
52 • ACCELERATOR PEDAL/ELECTRIC BRAKE. When
the foot is lifted from the accelerator pedal, the
electric brake automatically stops the tractor.
53 • To tip the shovel, lower the command lever.
54 • To lower the entire bucket block, push the
handle forwards.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
55 • Unscrew the two safety screws from the cab.
Remove the cab. Disconnect the battery from
the electrical system and loosen the 2 screws
on the battery brace, as shown in the figure.
56 • Extract the battery.
57 • Remove the battery clamp from the dead
battery and put it on the new battery.
58 • If you have bought or own a Peg Perego
12V/12Ah battery, you will have to remove the
plastic filler (A) by slipping it off the battery
clamp.
59 • Reposition the new battery with the battery
clamp in its housing. Fasten the clamp with the
two screws.
60 • Connect the battery plugs to the electrical
system. Reposition the cab. Attention: always
