use of this vehicle and to teach your child safe and
enjoyable driving. Please keep this manual for use

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.
USE CARE WHEN UNPACKING AS COMPONENTS TO
BE ASSEMBLED MAY POSE A SMALL PARTS/SHARP
EDGE HAZARD.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Take the protective caps off the wheel axles.
2 • Place one of the bigger washers on one of the
front two axles (PLEASE NOTE: you will find
more washers than needed in the bag, in case
one should get lost).
3 • Slip one of the two smaller wheels onto the
axle, making sure to place the tread in the
direction shown on the figure.
4 • Place one of the bigger self-locking washers on
the special tool, as shown in the figure.
Warning: the tongues of the self-locking
washers must face the inside of the tool (see
detail A).
PLEASE NOTE: you will find more self-locking
washers than needed in the bag. These are to
be stored and used if one breaks.
5 • Fasten the wheel as shown in the figure,
pushing the self-locking washer down
completely. Repeat the steps in figure 1 to
mount the other front wheel.
6 • Place a washer on the back right axle, as shown
in the figure.
7 • Slip one of the two remaining wheels onto the
axle, making sure to place the tread in the
direction shown in the figure.
8 • Insert a self-locking washer into the provided
tool (see figure 4) and fasten the wheel, as
shown in the figure.
9 • Slip the last wheel onto the axle, making sure to
push the axle fork all the way in.
10 • Insert an automatic lock-washer into the
provided tool (see figure 4) and fasten the
wheel, as shown in the figure.
11 • Snap the four stud caps onto the wheels.
12 • Insert the fake counterweight at the front of
the tractor.
13 • Tighten the screws in the base.
14 • Connect the two parts of the steering wheel.
15 • Fix the steering wheel with the proper screw
and nut. Note: nut fits into hexagon hole, screw
into round hole.
16 • Position the roll-bar on the mudguard.
17 • Tighten the four screws to fix the roll-bar.
18 • Position and screw on the mudguard with the 4
screws.
19 • Position and screw on the triangle with the two
screw on the back of the tractor.
20 • Unscrew the two knobs located under the seat.
21 • The seat can be set at two different positions
depending on the height of the child.
22 • Position the seat in one of the holes.
23 • Place the tractor on it side and unscrew the
panel on the bottom.
24 • Tight the seat with the two knobs and screw
the panel back in place.
25 • Position the roll-bar lights (1), pushing them till
they click (2).
26 • Remove the rod from the bucket arm.
27 • Position the arm on the motor and re-insert the
rod.
28 • Fasten the tie rod with the small stud by firmly
pressing both ends down. NOTE: There are
different sizes of studs in the bag. Check the
attached instruction sheet to see what size of
stud to use.
29 • Cut the cape.
30 • Insert a large stud into the provided tool shown
in the figure (see detail A).
31 • Insert the schovel tie rod in the hole on the
command lever. Fasten the shovel tie rod with
the stud as shown in the figure.
32 • Insert the plugs in the handlebar.
33 • Insert and fit the handlebar with the screws
provided.

34 • If you want to increase the tension of the chain:
Unscrew and rotate the plastic disk to position
2 or 3.
35 • Fasten the disk by tightening the screws.
36 • To lower the entire bucket block, push the
handle forwards.
37 • To tip the shovel, lower the command lever.
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY
This product conforms to EN 71 the safety standard
for toys. This vehicle is not intended for use on
streets, around traffic or parked cars.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• Regularly check the conditions of the vehicle. In
case of fault, do not try to use the vehicle. For
repair use only original PEG PEREGO's spare parts.
• PEG PEREGO assumes no liability if the product as
been tampered with.
• Do not leave vehicle near sources of heat such as
radiators, stoves, fireplaces, etc.
• Protect vehicle from water, rain, snow, etc.
• Periodically lubricate (with a light weight oil)
moving parts, such as wheel bearings, steering
linkages, and chains at points of rotation or where
they come in contact.
• The vehicle's surface can be cleaned with a
dampcloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The
cleaning must be carried out by adults only.
• Never disassemble the vehicles mechanisms
unless authorized by PEG PEREGO.
SAFETY
WARNING! THE CAR MUST BE USED UNDER ADULT
SUPERVISION.
• Not suitable for children under the age of 2 years.
The small pieces could be swallowed or inhaled.
• Never use the vehicle on steep slopes,near steps
or stairs, in the middle of traffic or between
parked cars.
• Children should always wear shoes when riding in
or driving a ride-in/ride-on vehicle.
• Do not allow children to place their hands, feet or
any part of their body, clothing or other articles
near the moving parts while vehicle is in
operation.
• Never use gasoline or other flammable
substances near the vehicle.
• The vehicle is constructed just for one child.
