When a battery is used, you cannot use knockouts across the bottom of the
enclosure. To ensure proper operation, replace the battery every three years,
whether or not it has been placed into use by an AC power failure. For
replacement, order one S300-BAT battery.

DDITIONAL NSTALLATION
Follow these installation guidelines:
• Connect AC Power to Branch Circuit Protection of 15 A.
• Separate Class 2 Power limited wiring from non-power limited wiring by a
minimum of 1/4 inch and use separate knockouts.
• Ensure the installation and all wiring methods are be in accordance with
ANSI/NFPA70 and all local codes; or, for Canadian installations, refer to
the Canadian Electric Code C22.1.
• Canadian and European installations: For permanently connected
equipment, incorporate a readily accessible disconnect device external to
the equipment. Ensure that output circuits not connected to removable
terminal strips also utilize a readily accessible disconnect device.
• Physically separate all data cables from power lines. If you use a conduit,
do not run data cables in the same conduit as power cables or certain door
strike cables, such as strike voltage greater than 42 V or magnetic door
locks without Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) suppression.
• Enclose any wiring passing through knockouts in the bottom or top
surfaces of the enclosure in rigid or flexible metal conduit.

OUNTING
This section describes how to mount CKM devices in a CKM-CE75-E1M
enclosure.
Overview
A CKM-CE75-E1M enclosure comes with a CKM-FPO75 75 W power supply
already installed in the enclosure.
It also requires a CKM-F8P 8-channel power distribution module (ordered and
installed separately) that is required for UL 1076 and UL 294 installations.
