D ONNECTING TO TANDBY OWER For additional standby power wiring information, refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for Listed model EB-80 battery enclosure. For UL 294 and UL 1076 installations, the CKM-CE75-E1M is intended to be used with model EB-80 battery box and one 12VDC, 40Ah sealed lead acid battery for standby power.

To ensure proper operation, replace the battery every three years, whether or not it has been placed into use by an AC power failure. For replacement, order one S300-BAT battery.

D Mounting Procedures This section includes two mounting procedures: one for the MR 50, and one for the EP1501 and the MR51E (which mount the same way). To mount an MR50: 1. Identify the mounting location in the enclosure. An MR50 can only be mounted in location B, as shown in Figure 3-7.

D LARM NTERFACE NPUT This section provides more detailed information on the usage of the Fire Alarm Interface (FAI) input. : Fire alarm input must be wired for fail-safe operation. FAI activation, deactivation, and latching occurs as follows: Activation with a Normally Open Relay Contact FAI activates when the NO contact closes, and deactivates when the NO contact opens.
