4. Lower the carburetor in a container with gasoline to
find leaks.
5. Make sure that there are no leaks.
6.7.7 To remove and install the heat insulator
1. Remove the carburetor. Refer to
install the carburetor on page 18 .
2. Remove the 3 screws, the heat insulator (A), and the
gasket (B).

3. Install in the opposite sequence.

6.8 Shaft

6.8.1 To remove and install the shaft
1. Remove the screw (A) and the top cover (B).

2. Remove the 3 clamp screws (C).
3. Disconnect the connectors and the throttle cable.
4. Remove the shaft.
5. Install in the opposite sequence.

6.9.1 To disassemble and assemble the clutch
drum and the clutch housing
1. Remove the shaft from the clutch housing. Refer to
To remove and install the shaft on page 23 .
2. Remove the air filter cover, the muffler cover and the
cylinder cover. Refer to
filter cover, the muffler cover and the cylinder cover
on page 14 .
3. Remove the 6 screws and the bottom cover (A).
