5. Remove the clamp units (B) and the rubber bushing
(C).

6. Remove the small snap ring in the clutch housing.
7. Use a hammer and a mandrel to remove the clutch
drum from the clutch housing.

CAUTION: Only hit with the mandrel in the
center of the clutch drum when you install
the clutch drum.
8. Apply heat to the clutch housing until it is
approximately 110°C.
WARNING: Use protective gloves.
9. Tap the clutch housing against a wooden block to
remove the bearing.
10. Assemble in the opposite sequence. Apply grease
on the splines (D) on the power transmission axle
(E) in the shaft.

6.9.2 To remove and install the centrifugal clutch
1. Remove the shaft. Refer to
the shaft on page 23 .
2. Remove the clutch housing. Refer to
disassemble and assemble the clutch drum and the
clutch housing on page 23 .
3. Remove the spark plug.
4. Put a piston stop in the spark plug hole. Refer to
Servicing tools on page 11 .
