LED FUNCTION MODE

4.1.2 NORMAL MODE

First turn off and on the main power when an error occurs. If an error remains after
doing that, do the actions in the column of "possible cause".

Fan lock error (Scanner)
Fan lock error (ADF)
Exposure lamp error
Flash ROM error
System error
Symptoms
The fan in the scanner is
locked over 200 ms after the
fan motor has been
activated.
The fan in the ADF is locked
over 200 ms after the fan
motor has been activated.
The exposure lamp does not
turn on.
Erasing or writing data to the
Flash ROM fails when
updating the firmware.
System does not work
correctly.
(e.g. firmware error)
