TIMING ROLLER DRIVE DISASSEMBLY
Before performing servicing on the timing roller drive, disassembly may be necessary. Per-
form this as follows (reference -Fig. 4-72):
Oilless Bearing
Spring Retaining Collar
Friction Spring
Spring Stopper
Outer Notch
NOTE: * marked items form the Control Clutch.
Timing Disk
Inner Notch
Spring Retaining Collar
Clutch-action Ring *'

a) After removing the copier rear cover, remove the drive chain, as explained in 4.10-3.
b) Remove the retaining ring from the shaft.
c) While holding the timing roller control clutch, draw clutch gear A from the shaft by
turning it counterclockwise, as shown in Fig. 4-73.
