3.2-2 WHEN COPIES ARE DESIRED — ~COPY~
The depressing of the COPY button triggers a series of actions which result in the repro-
duction of the original document. The ~COPY~ flowchart depicts the actions which occur
during the cycles for both "half-size" and "full-size" copy paper.
The initial steps of the flowchart, suffixed with the letter "C", are steps common to both
paper sizes. However, beginning with STEP 5, the steps are suffixed with. either "CH"(COPY/
half-size) or "CF" (COPY/full-size).
The following table
(3-3) gives a brief explanation of the actions occurring at each block of
the COPY ~ flowchart. It
is recommended that the ~COPY~ flowchart be followed when
studying Table 3-3.
