Controls for reading lamps and front roof lighting

Interior lighting
The front reading lamps are controlled with
the
and
buttons in the roof console.
The switch for passenger compartment light-
ing has three positions for the lighting
throughout the whole of the passenger com-
partment.
• Off – right-hand side depressed, automat-
ic lighting deactivated.
• Neutral position – automatic lighting acti-
vated.
• On – left-hand side depressed, passenger
compartment lighting on.
Automatic lighting
The passenger compartment lighting is
switched on and off automatically when the
button for passenger compartment lighting is
in neutral position.
The lighting comes on and remains on for
30 seconds if:
• the car is unlocked from the outside with
the key or remote control
• the engine is switched off and the ignition
is in position 0
The lighting switches off when:
• the engine is started.
• the car is locked from outside
The lighting comes on and remains on for
two minutes if one of the doors is open.
The passenger compartment lighting can be
switched on and off manually within
30 minutes from when the car is unlocked.
If the lighting is switched on manually and the
car is locked then it will be switched off auto-
matically after one minute.

Rear roof lighting
The lamps are switched on or off by pressing
each respective button.

Courtesy lighting

The courtesy lighting is switched on or off
automatically when one of the front doors is
opened or closed.
Glovebox lighting
The glovebox lighting is switched on or off
automatically when its door is opened or
closed.
