Changing the Engine Oil
Service Interval: Every 250 hours
1. Park the machine on a level surface, stop the engine,
and remove the ignition key.
WARNING
Allow the engine and oil to cool before
draining the oil. Hot oil may cause serious
injury.
2. Ensure that the drain hose
pulled up and the end of the hose is placed in a drain
pan.

3. Open the drain valve
4. Drain the oil into the drain pan.
5. When the oil stops, close the drain valve
6. Place the drain hose back into the original position

the cap upward.

Note: Use a funnel with a flexible, attached hose to
direct the engine oil into the engine.
9. Fill the crankcase with approximately 7.5 L (7.9 US
qt) of the specified engine oil; refer to
Engine Oil and Filter (page

11. Start the engine, run it at idle for about 2 minutes, and
check for oil leaks.
12. Stop the engine and remove the key.
13. Wait for 2 or 3 minutes and check the oil level; refer to

Every 2,000 hours
