Using the Cylinder Lock

WARNING
The thrust frame may lower when it is in the raised
position, causing serious injury or death.
Install the cylinder lock before performing
maintenance that requires the thrust frame to be
raised.
Installing the Cylinder Lock
1. Start the engine.
2. Lower the thrust frame to the fully-lowered position.
3. Stop the engine.
4. Position the cylinder lock over the cylinder rod

5. Secure the cylinder lock with the cotter pin and clevis
pin

6. Turn the engine to the On position, and raise the thrust
frame until it rests on the cylinder lock.

Removing and Storing the Cylinder
Lock
1. Start the engine.
2. Lower the thrust frame to the fully lowered position.
3. Stop the engine.
4. Remove the cotter pin and the clevis pin that secure the
cylinder lock

6. Turn the engine to the On position, and raise the thrust
frame.
7. Store the cylinder lock at the rear of the pipe holder
