The NUENDO is capable of importing video files (QuickTime, etc) as reference when editing audio,
but the conventional post-production workflow for editing audio for video has involved copying the
master to a tape (or hard drive) for editing, and copying the audio to NUENDO (Track lay-down).
The finished audio from the editing process is then used to overwrite the master (Track lay-back).
While that is the conventional tape-based process, now that nonlinear editing systems are common,
and with SSD-based cameras such as those from Blackmagic Design, there are a number of solutions
that create a seamless process from shooting to video editing to audio editing. The HyperDeck
Studio Pro does not come standard with a SSD, and we encourage you to get 2.5" SSDs separately
