Replacing Bulbs

To rem ove, push the bulb in and turn
to the left, then lift the bulb out.
To install, grip the bulb with a paper
tissue or sim ilar cloth, align the pins
on the base of the bulb with the
grooves in the bulb socket, push in
^ lightly and turn to the right until the
stop is felt.
A Install only bulbs of prescribed w atta­
ge. Refer to " Technical Data and last
W page" .
Headlam p A im ing
C orrect headlam p aim ing is of para­
m ount im portance to the ro a d w o rth i­
ness of the car. Check and readjust
headlam ps at regular intervals and
invariably when a lam p has been
replaced.

1 Cover
2 S ecuring screws fo r cover
3 H orizontal aim ing screws
4 Vertical aim ing screws
Loosen securing screws 2 and detach
cover 1.
5 High and low beam sealed-beam
unit (type 2):
Loosen clam ping screws 7, re­
m ove retaining ring and unit,
disconnect plug and socket on
unit.
6 High beam sealed-beam unit
(type 1):
Loosen clam ping screws 8, re­
move retaining ring and unit,
disconnect plug and socket on
unit.
9 B u lb fo rtu rn signal, parking, side
m a rker and standing lamp:
Loosen knurled nut (10) in engine
com partm ent, push housing (11)
forw ard and detach.
