(5) For assurance, move the elevator assembly upward, then
downward with your hand and adjust Y direction of the el-
evator assembly so that the top of elevator sensor and cen-
ter of V groove come fitted. After this, move the Z stage
toward VTR, and then make sure that the clearance A is
sure of 1.0 ±0.5 mm as shown in the figure.
In case of an old type of VTR shutter plate as well, move
the elevator assembly up and down with your hand and
check if the distance is sure of 2 mm between the top of
elevator sensor and upper edge of shutter plate, adjusting
Y direction of Z stage of elevator assembly.
After this, move the Z stage toward VTR, and then make
sure that the clearance A is sure of 1.0 ±0.5 mm as shown
in the figure.
(6) Items mentioned on the above (2) through (5) must be applied
to all the VTRs installed.
10. Hand assembly installation
(For DSR-1600/1800/2000 series VTRs)
(1) Install the hand assembly in the elevator with one screw.
(2) Connect the harnesses disconnected in step (2) of proce-
dure 1 to the former connectors.
