How to resolve touchscreen response issues

This procedures describes some common touchscreen problems and how to correct them.
Issue
Touchscreen is not responding to touch commands, or is not responding at all.
Cause(s)
The touchscreen needs to be calibrated.
l
Cable for touch capability may not be attached properly to the touchscreen (wiggled out of place).
l
If you have upgraded to the 15 inch display, but did not swap out the power cables, the
l
touchscreen will shut down approximately 30 minutes after power up.
Resolution
Calibrate the touchscreen.
l
Ensure the cable is properly attached to the touchscreen.
l
Ensure appropriate power supply cable is being used.
l
