Cabling the 5887 disk drive enclosure to an EDR1 PCIe storage enclosure that is
attached to an 8202-E4D or 8205-E6D
Use this information as a guide for cabling your disk drive enclosure to your PCIe storage enclosure.
Figure 15 on page 15 shows one 8202-E4D or 8205-E6D with two 5887 disk drive enclosures connected to
one EDR1 PCIe storage enclosure by using four SAS EX cables.
Note: The IBM i operating system does not support attaching more than one 5887 disk drive enclosure to
an EDR1 PCIe storage enclosure.
