ANALOG MODE OPERATION

n DTMF transmission
If the transcever has [DTMF Autodial] assgned to t, the
automatc DTMF Transmsson functon can be used. Up to 8
DTMF channels are selectable.
q Push [DTMF Autodial]— a DTMF channel appears.
w Push [CH Up] or [CH Down], or rotate [CH Up/Down] to
select the desred DTMF channel.
e Push [DTMF Autodial] to transmt the DTMF code.
n Scrambler function
The Voce Scrambler functon provdes prvate voce commu-
ncaton between users.
q Push [Scrambler] or [Scrambler/Encryption] to turn the
Voce Scrambler functon ON.
• " " on Handheld types or " " on Moble types appears. (Smple
and 10-key types only)
w Push [Scrambler] or [Scrambler/Encryption] agan to
turn the functon OFF.
• " " on Handheld types or " " on Moble types dsappears. (Sm-
ple and 10-key types only)

n Emergency transmission
When [Emergency] s pushed for the specfied tme perod*,
the DTMF emergency sgnal s transmtted once, or repeat-
edly, on the specfied emergency channel.
* Dependng on the pre-settng. Ask your dealer for detals.
A repeat emergency sgnal s automatcally transmtted untl
the transcever receves the acknowledgement sgnal or turn-
ng the transcever power OFF.
When no emergency channel s specfied, the sgnal s trans-
mtted on the prevously selected channel.
If you want to cancel the emergency call, push and hold
[Emergency] agan before transmttng the call.
If your transcever s programmed for Slent operaton, you
can transmt Emergency calls wthout the beep soundng or
the LCD dsplay lghtng.
IMPORTANT: It s recommended to set an emergency
channel ndvdually to provde the certan emergency call
operaton.
