Installing the Driver for the Sound Board

Verifying and Changing the Emulex LP850 F/C Driver Installation
and Status
Use the following procedure to check the status of the Emulex driver
only if the board is in the system:
1. Open the Control Panel and double-click the Devices icon.
2. Use the scroll bar to find the lp6nds35 driver and click to select it.
3. Check the Status column for a device status of Started. This
indicates that the driver installed and initialized properly.
The driver should be listed as a boot device under the Startup
column.
4. Click the Hardware Profile button.
The Device window opens.
5. Select Original Configuration and click the Disable button.
You should now see LP6NDS35 disabled for the Original
Configuration and enabled for the Avid Configuration.
6. Click OK.
7. Click the Close button.
This section describes installation of the driver for the Turtle Beach
Montego II (Turtle Beach) sound board supported on the IBM 6868
system. Use this procedure as a template to install the driver for the
Diamond Sonic Impact S90 and Diamond Sonic Impact S100 boards.
Avid recommends you install the sound board driver using the following
procedure and not use the installation procedure that ships with the sound
board.
