The First 1,000 Miles (1,500 km)

firs t 1,000 m iles (1,500 km) at
m oderate v e h ic le and engine
speeds.
D uring th is pe rio d , avoid heavy
loads (full th ro ttle d riv in g ) and high
RPMs (no m ore than 2A o f m a xi­
mum p e rm is s ib le speed in each
gear) and do not fo rc e the engine
to la b o r at low en gine speed.
