Spark Plugs

Fuses

The fuse b o x (1) is lo ca te d in the
e ngine co m p a rtm e n t.
A sum m ary o f the p ro te cte d
e q u ip m e n t is p rin te d in th e fuse box
c o v e r (2).
Fuse a rra n g e m e n t in the bo x —
sta rtin g at e n g ine side, p ro ce e d in g
from inside to o u tsid e —
up per ro w ; odd num bers
1, 3, 5 etc. up to 15;
lo w e r ro w : even num bers
2, 4, 6 etc. up to 16.

Electrical System

Fuses m ust not be repaired or
b rid g e d .
S pare fuses are sto re d in the fuse
b ox (observe a m p erage and c o lo r
code).
T rack dow n the cause o f a sh o rt
p rio r to re p la c in g a b u rn e d -o u t fuse.

Battery

A p p ro x im a te ly every fo u r w eeks
and m ore fre q u e n tly in sum m er
and in tro p ic a l zones, check the
e le c tro ly te level in th e b a tte ry ce lls
from outside.
T he e le c tro ly te level m ust be som e­
w h e re betw een th e lo w e r and the
u p p e r m a rkin g .
R eplenish o n ly w ith d is tille d w a te r
and do not use m etal funnels.
L u b rica te b a tte ry te rm in a ls w ith
a c id p ro o f grease. Keep b a tte ry
clean and dry.
