crease vo lu m e of rear speakers and
fo rw a rd to incre a se volum e of
fro n t speakers.

S ta tion T uning
First, s e le c t d esired band by
pre ssing one of th e AM o r FM
sta tio n b u tto n s (3), then tune
m anually by tu rn in g c o n tro l kno b (4).
F or good re ce p tio n , a cc u ra te
m anual tu n in g is im portan t.
To p re set sta tio n s on pushb utton
tu n in g radios in e ith e r the AM or
FM band, pull sta tio n b u tto n s (3),
ca re fu lly tu n e in the d esired station,
push button slo w ly and firm ly all
th e w ay in, then release.
A u to m a tic sta tion tu n in g (on signal
se eking ra dio s only) is a c c o m p li­
shed by m o m e n ta rily d epressing the
" A u to m a tic T u n in g '' bar (6). The
tu n e r m oves from th e le ft to w a rd s
the rig h t side o f the dial and stops
w h e n ever a useable s ta tion is found.
O p erating the a u to m a tic tu n in g bar
again causes th e tu n e r to resum e its
search fu n c tio n . W hen th e end of
the band is reached, th e tu n e r w ill
a u to m a tic a lly return to th e be­
g in n in g of th e band and s ta rt the
search o p e ra tio n again.
The p o sitio n of th e search sensitivity
sw itch (5) d eterm ines w h e th e r the
tu n e r w ill stop at m any or the m ost
pow erful s tations only.
