Safety Belts

W arning system :
The in d ic a to r m arked " FASTEN
SEAT B ELTS " is illu m in a te d fo r 4 - 8
seconds if the ste erin g lock is in
p o sition " 2" . If the safety belt o f the
d riv e r's seat is not fastened a
w a rnin g buzzer sounds s im u l­
taneously.
Fastening o f fro n t and rea r o u te r
seat b e lts (w ith in e rtia reel):
• Pull b e lt w ith to n g u e (1) across
s h o u ld e r and lap. The b e lt m ust
not be tw iste d and m ust be tig ht.
• Press to n g u e (1) in to buckle (2)
and a llo w to engage audibly.
U nfasten, fro n t and rear:
• D epress red bu tto n " PRESS" (3)
in buckle (2).
• R eturn to n g u e (1) to in itia l
p o sitio n.

(w ith o u t in e rtia reel):
• Pull b e lt across the lap. It m ust
n o t be tw is te d and m ust be tig h t.
• Press to n g u e in to buckle and
a llo w to engage audibly.
A d ju s tm e n t o f rear c e n te r seat belt:
To lengthen, turn be lt buckle (on
LH sid e of belt) to be at rig h t angles
to the b e lt and p ull the tongue.
To sh orte n, p u ll loose end of belt.
