External L+ power supply (only for BaseUnit type B1)
Connect an external 24 V DC voltage supply of the type SELV/PELV (to EN61010-2-201,
Class 2) to the connections L+ and M in order to supply voltage to the technology module
SIMATIC ET 200SP TM ECC PL ST. The voltage input of the technology module has an
electrical reverse polarity protection.

L+- and M insulation at the technology module SIMATIC ET 200SP TM ECC PL ST with help
of the BaseUnit type B1.
The L+ and M connectors on the BaseUnit of type B1 are galvanically isolated from the
neighboring BaseUnits to the left and right. The L+ and M busbars run through the BaseUnit
type B1 (without connectors) and expand the busbar with connectors for BaseUnits on the
left and right.
