Software for the 3BSI card is stored on a ROM chip on the card. Upgrading software simply in-
volves replacing the existing ROM with a new version in the position shown below. Use a chip ex-
traction tool to remove the old ROM, position the new ROM carefully over the vacated slot and
push down gently but firmly to fix it in position.

Software for the 4BSI card is stored on a ROM chip on the card. Upgrading software simply in-
volves replacing the existing ROM with a new version.
1. Loosen the four screws on the cover of the 4BSI card, and remove the cover.
2. Use a chip extraction tool to remove the old ROM from the card (see below), position the new
ROM carefully over the vacated slot and push down gently but firmly to fix it in position.
Maintenance
Install new ROM chip
