1. Setting up the system / Installation dieses Systems
Setup of this system must be handled by trained service personnel. Assigning this task to any
other personnel may result in improper setup, impairing system performance and exposing the
eyes or skin to the laser beam, resulting in injury.
Dieses System wird von ausgebildetem Kundendienstpersonal vorgenommen. Wenn diese
Arbeit von anderen Personen durchgeführt wird, besteht die Gefahr, dass es durch den Laser zur
Bestrahlung der Augen oder Haut kommt. Gleichzeitig kann dies die Leistungsfähigkeit des
Systems nachteilig beeinflussen.
2. Items to check before turning on the laser / Vor Einschalten des Lasers zu prüfende
Punkte
Before turning on the laser, check that
1) an objective or cap is in place on each of the sockets on the nosepiece of the microscope;
2) that the diascopic illumination lamphouse is attached; and
3) that a cassette holder is attached.
Failure to meet any of the above requirements may cause the laser beam to be emitted from the
sockets on the nosepiece, the mounting hole for the lamphouse, or the mounting hole for the
cassette holder, resulting in injury.
Bitte prüfen Sie vor Einschalten des Lasers die folgenden Punkte.
1) Dass alle Öffnungen des Objektivrevolvers entweder mit Objektiven bestückt oder durch
Kappen abgedeckt sind.
2) Dass das Lampengehäuse für die diaskopische Beleuchtung angebracht ist.
3) Dass die Kassettenhalterung montiert ist.
Wenn die oben aufgeführten Vorsichtsmaßnahmen nicht eingehalten werden, besteht die Gefahr,
dass Laserlicht aus den Löchern des Objektivrevolvers, der Montageöffnung für die
Kassettenhalterung oder der Befestigungslöcher des Lampengehäuses austritt.
3. Do not remove the TIRF attachment / Die TIRF Beleuchtungsvorrichtung
Do not remove the TIRF attachment from the microscope. Removing the attachment may cause
the laser beam to be emitted through the mounting hole.
Die TIRF Beleuchtungsvorrichtung bitte nicht vom Mikroskop entfernen. Anderenfalls besteht die
Gefahr, dass Laserlicht aus dem Anschlussteil des Mikroskops austritt.
4. Do not look into the laser beam (FDA CDRH: Class II, EN60825-1: Class 2 IEC 60825-1:
Class 2) / Nicht in das Laserlicht blicken (FDA CDRH: Klasse II, EN60825-1: Klasse 2,
IEC 60825-1: Klasse 2)
When the laser is on, never attempt to look into the objective or the areas near the objective from
above or below the stage as the lens emits a powerful laser beam toward the top and bottom
sides of the stage. To prevent the laser beam emitted from the objectives from being reflected
and directed toward the eyes or skin, never place a reflective object on the stage or in the
diascopic optical path.
Wenn der Laser eingeschaltet ist, niemals in das Objektiv oder den Bereich in der Nähe des
Objektivs von oben oder unten des Objekttisches blicken, da die Linse einen starken Laserstrahl
zu den oberen und unteren Seiten des Objettisches ausstrahlen. Ebenfalls niemals
reflektierende Gegenstände auf den Objekttisch oder den diaskopischen Lichtweg legen, um zu
vermeiden, dass von dort reflektiertes Licht in die Augen oder auf die Haut gerichtet wird.
