Emitting the He-Ne laser
Turn the key switch on the He-Ne laser
power unit clockwise to turn on the unit.
With the three-laser unit, another key switch
is provided on the unit; this key switch is
also turned clockwise.
The laser emission will start in
approximately thirty seconds. The laser
output will stabilize in approximately 15
minutes.
Be sure to read the Instruction Manual supplied
with the He-Ne laser.

Emitting the Solid-State Laser
Turn on the switch of the solid-state laser's
power unit. The output will be stable and
ready for use in approximately five minutes.
Make sure to refer to the Instruction Manual
accompanying the solid-state laser.

Setting-in the ND filter
To prevent the intensity of the laser from
degrading the sample, we recommend
inserting an ND filter (ND4 or ND8) into the
optical path in advance.
