Store the harness straps, chest clip, buckle
tongues and buckle for future use.

Locate Buckle Strap's
Metal Retainer
Turn the child restraint over
and locate buckle strap's
metal retainer.
Insert Metal Retainer
Through Shell and Pad
Rotate metal retainer, then
insert metal retainer up
through the shell and pad.
Remove Buckle from
Child Restraint
From the front, pull buckle
strap free from shell and
pad.

You must remove the harness system to remove the
pad from the shell. See section C-5.

Remove Headrest Pad
Place headrest in the
highest position. Starting
from the top, gently pull
pad off of headrest.

Release the Elastic
Straps
(on select models)
NOTE:
the elastic straps may
vary by model.
From the back of
the shell, release the
elastic straps at the top
and sides of the child
restraint.
