3. Locate Lower Harness

Lower Harness Guides

Remove both lower harness
guides in bottom of seat by
using a screwdriver to press
in on the lip of lower harness
guides.
Remove by pushing harness
guide lip toward outside of
shell with one hand while
pulling harness guide from the
top with the other.

Undo Fastening Strip
(on select models)
Lower headrest to lowest
position and undo the
fastening strip behind the
headrest.

5. Pull Seat Pad Out
from Behind Headrest
Pull rest of pad off of
shell.
Cleaning Pad
Machine wash separately with cold water on a gentle
cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately for 10-12
minutes on low heat. Remove immediately.
Harness Straps: Spot clean only. Do not machine or hand
wash.
Do not use this child restraint or booster
seat without the seat pad. Failure to do this
can result in serious injury.
Install Pad
Replace seat pad by reversing order for your particular
model.
Lower headrest.
Starting from bottom of child restraint, slip pad on shell.
Pull harness adjustment strap through pad.
Make sure pad is behind headrest. Attach fastening strip.
Attach all of the elastic straps.
Place headrest in highest position. Gently pull headrest pad
on headrest.
Install lower harness guides.
Install harness system (see section C-7).
