Adjusting the Top Anchorage
Strap
The top anchorage strap is used for the forward-facing
position only.
Most vehicles made after 9/1/99 already have the anchor
hardware for a top anchorage strap. Refer to your
owner's manual or call your dealer.
Storage of Top Anchorage Strap:
Pull loose
end to
tighten
Lift up to
loosen

Rear-facing position:
Place top anchorage strap
over the back of the child
restraint with the anchor
hook secured recline
stand.
To Attach Top
Anchorage Strap:
Put knee in child restraint
and push down; attach
hook to anchor in vehicle.
To Adjust Top
Anchorage Strap:
To tighten; pull on free end
of top anchorage strap.
To loosen; lift up on top
anchorage lock and push
lock toward top anchorage
hook.
Removing Seat Pad for Cleaning
WARNING
!
Do not use this child restraint without the
seat pad. Failure to do this can result in
serious injury.
Removal of Harness:
Press red button on

buckle to release the
buckle plate.
From the back of the seat,

unfasten harness from
splitter plate.
Pull harness through the

harness slots from the
front.
Lift barrier over seat shell.
