Restoring the Initial State of the Panel
In order to restore the panel to a defined initial state, the module must be placed in Failsafe
Mode and the panel firmware then updated.
Forcing Failsafe Mode:
Programming and panel firmware are deleted.

Forcing Extended Failsafe Mode:
Programming, panel firmware and history are deleted, network settings are reset (DHCP,
0.0.0.0).
First carry out steps 1 – 5, then carry out steps 2 – 6 once more.

Open tamper switch 3.
De-energize the main panel (e.g. disconnect the small white connector at the rear of the
panel).
Press and hold installer button 1.
Connect voltage (e.g. plug in small white connector again).
Release installer button after 30 seconds; wait until LED 2 is permanently lit (can take
several minutes).
Transfer panel firmware "MAP_Update.Cumulative ...tar.bz2" again using RPS.
