Shutting Off the Engine

1.
Release the clutch bail.
2.
Move the throttle control to the S

Move the On/Off switch to the O

Close the fuel-shutoff valve before you store or
transport the machine

After Operation

After Operation Safety

General Safety
Shut off the engine, remove the key (if equipped),
and wait for all movement to stop before you leave
the operator's position. Allow the machine to cool
before adjusting, servicing, cleaning, or storing it.
Clean grass and debris from the machine to help
prevent fires. Clean up oil or fuel spills.
Allow the machine to cool before storing the
machine in any enclosure.
Do not store the machine or fuel container where
there is an open flame, spark, or pilot light, such
as on a water heater or on other appliances.
Reduce the throttle setting before shutting off
the engine and turn off the fuel-shutoff valve (if
equipped) after mowing.
Operating the Controls
after Mowing
1.
Drive the machine off of the green, push down
on the handle to raise the cutting unit, release
the clutch bail, disengage the cutting unit, and
shut off the engine.
2.
Remove the grass basket and empty the basket
of clippings.
3.
Install the grass basket on the machine and
transport the machine to storage.

After mowing, transport the machine away from the
job site; refer to

Slide a wheel onto an axle

Pivot the wheel-locking clip
from center of the wheel, allowing it to slide
farther onto the axle.
4.
Rotate the wheel back and forth until it slides
completely onto the axle and the locking clip is
secured in the groove on the axle shaft.
5.
Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of
the machine.
6.
Carefully lower the machine off the kickstand.
