The used engine oil can cause skin-cancer if kept frequently in contact for prolonged periods. If contact with oil cannot be avoided, wash carefully your hands with water and

soap as soon as possible. Do not disperse the oil in the ambient, as it has a high pollution power.

Zużyty olej silnikowy może być przyczyną raka skóry, jeżeli wielokrotnie i przez dłuższy czas dochodzi do kontaktu oleju ze skórą. Jeżeli nie da się uniknąć kontaktu z olejem, zaleca

się jak najszybsze, dokładne umycie rąk wodą i mydłem. Nie wyrzucać zużytego oleju, ponieważ jest on bardzo szkodliwy.

SAE CLASSIFICATION

In the SAE classification, oils differ on the basis of their viscosity, and no other qualitative characteristic is taken into account.

The first number refers to the viscosity when the engine is cold (symbol W = winter), while the second considers viscosity with the engine at régime.

The criteria for choosing must consider, during winter, the lowest outside temperature to which the engine will be subject and the highest functioning temperature during summer.

Single-degree oils are normally used when the running temperature varies scarcely.

Multi-degree oil is less sensitive to temperature changes.

KLASYFIKACJA SAE

W klasyfikacji SAE oleje są oznaczane na podstawie lepkości bez względu na jakiekolwiek inne właściwości.

Pierwsza cyfra dotyczy lepkości na zimno, użytkowania zimą (symbol W = winter), natomiast druga cyfra dotyczy lepkości na gorąco.

Kryterium wyboru powinno uwzględniać: zimą - minimalną temperaturę otoczenia, w którym silnik będzie pracował, natomiast latem - maksymalną temperaturę pracy silnika.

Oleje jednosezonowe są na ogół stosowane, jeżeli temperatura pracy niewiele się zmienia.

Olej jednosezonowy jest mniej czuły na zmiany temperatury.
