OPERATION

Receiving calls

A ring tone sounds.
In case of an incoming call from the front door, the
video image of the front-door station is displayed
automatically.
In case of an incoming call from a flat door or ano-
ther indoor station no video image is displayed.

Speaking

Can be executed only in combination with a front
door station or an indoor station.
1. Lift up the handset to accept the call.
Third parties cannot listen in to conversa-
tion or see the video image.
Terminating the conversation
1. Hang-up the handset. The video image is faded
out.
Call and video image are terminated auto-
matically after 2 minutes.
Opening the door
1. Press the blue door release button.

Function button

Image activation is preset ex works.
1. Shortly press the function button to display the
video image of the front door station (without
receiving a door call from the front door).
Press the function button repeatedly to
switch-over between different video images
from further cameras (if available).

Activate ring tone mute

1. Move down the call OFF switch. No ring tone
sounds in case of an incoming call.

Deactivate ring tone mute

1. Move up the call OFF switch. A ring tone
sounds in case of an incoming call.

Setting the ring tone volume

The ring tone volume can be adjusted continuously
with the ring tone volume control.
Setting brightness / contrast
Brightness and contrast can be adjustaed manually
in 8 steps when the indoor station is in standby mode.
1. Press the function button and the door release
button simultaneously for at least 8 sec until
the video image is displayed.
2. Press the function button to set the contrast.
The setting is implemented in 8 continuously
increasing steps.
3. Press the door release button to set the bright-
ness. The setting is implemented in 8 conti-
nuously increasing steps.
If no button is pressed for more than 8
sec the indoor station returns to standby
mode (video off) and the entered settings
are stored automatically.
