With this function, you can start editing from the middle of the tape,
and cut out unwanted scenes while making a copy.
Before you start editing, set up the system according to the instructions
on pages 64 to 66.

Search for the points where you want to start playing
or recording, and set both VCRs to playback pause
mode.

Press EDIT STANDBY.
The EDIT STANDBY indicator lights. This VCR is set to
recording pause, and the other VCR is set to playback pause.

Press START/PAUSE.
Playback starts on the other VCR and
recording starts on this VCR.

Press START/PAUSE just before the
beginning of the unwanted scene
(A).
Both VCRs are set to pause.
If the tape passes the desired point
Press RECORDER and rewind the tape to
point A, with the shuttle ring or jog dial.
