programs using VCR

Notes
• You cannot set a PlusCode
in the following cases:
– When the VCR is turned
off.
– While recording using the
timer or quick timer
• The timer will not accept
settings in the following
cases:
– When you select DAILY
for a Saturday or Sunday
program.
– When you select DAILY
or WEEKLY for a
program more than seven
days ahead.
– When you enter PlusCode
of a program that has
already ended.

Basic Operations
Just enter the program's "PlusCode" listed in the TV program guide.
The date, times and channel of that program are set automatically. You
can preset up to eight programs at a time.
Before you start...
• Check that the clock is set to the correct time.
• Insert a tape with its protect tab not slid to red. Make sure the tape is
longer than the total recording time.
• Turn on your TV and set it to the video channel.
POWER

Slide down the back cover of the
remote commander, then press
VCR Plus+.

Press the PlusCode number
buttons to enter the program's
PlusCode.
If you make a mistake, press TIMER
CLEAR and enter the correct PlusCode.

Press ONCE, DAILY, or WEEKLY:
To record

Everyday Monday to Friday

WEEKLY
The date, start and stop times, and
TIMER
channel number appear on the screen.
CLEAR
Check that the information is correct.
VCR Plus+
If it is not, press TIMER CLEAR to
cancel.

To preset another timer setting,
repeat steps 1 to 4.

Press POWER to turn off the VCR.
"TIMER" appears in the display
window and the VCR stands by for
recording. When using a cable box,
leave it on.
