4.5 Stop gas charge
Preparations :Tools, Explosion-proof vacuum pump
Procedure : As shown in the figure below, let the long hose outdoors and connect the
explosion-proof vacuum pump. Activate the pump, open the valves (VC, VG, VL,
VR, VS) and suck out the remaining refrigerant of the hose / general purpose
GM.
When release of the refrigerant is completed, shut all the valves and stop the
pump. Remove the hose from the low pressure service valve.

Note:Be sure to use explosion-proof type when using vacuum pump to suck refrigerant.
Do not use the powerful vacuum pump used for evacuation by mistake.
4.6 Gas leak check
Preparation : Detector
Procedure :
Leak check low pressure service valve with charge hose removed using detector.
Subsequently, the high pressure side service port and the part welded and
connected at the time of repair are likewise leak checked. If there is no
abnormality, attach the cap to the low-pressure side service valve and the
high-pressure side service port

Do not apply excessive force to the welded portion of piping when installing the
rear cover after the work (prevent occurrence of cracks).
