3. Startup and initial settings

This section describes the procedure to start the preventive maintenance function.
Validation of the preventive maint
enance function (3.1)
1. Turn off the power of the robot controller.
2. Insert the "MELFA Smart Plus Card" or
"MELFA Smart Plus Card Pack" into the
controller.
3. Turn on the power of the robot controller.
4. Set the MELFA Smart Plus enable
parameter.
5. Restart the robot controller.
6. Check if the preventive maintenance
function is in enable state.
7. Set the notification method.
Now you can use the preventive
maintenance function .
