5. Enter the phone number or extension of the user and press the OK soft key again. Pressing
the Back soft key returns you to the previous menu.
The handset requests confirmation.
6. Press the Save soft key to confirm the entry request.
The handset emits a confirmation tone and the display reads Saved for three seconds.
Press Cancel to return you to the main menu. Press Back to return to the previous menu.

Deleting contacts

You can only delete contacts from the contact list in the local directory. You can delete contacts
individually or all at once.
Procedure
1. Select a directory entry from the Directory menu.
The handset displays the contact information.
2. Press the Del soft key to delete the contact.
The handset requests confirmation.
3. Select one of the following:
• Press the OK soft key to delete the selected contact from the directory.
• Press the Back soft key to exit without deleting any contacts.
• Press the All soft key to delete all the contacts.
If you choose to delete contacts, the handset requests confirmation. Once confirmed, the
handset display reads Deleted for three seconds before returning to the address list.

Editing a contact

You can only edit contacts saved in the local directory. Use the following procedure.
Procedure
1. Select a directory entry from the Directory menu.
The handset display provides the entry information.
