2. Press More.. > Edit to enter Edit mode.
The display prompts you to edit the user information.
3. If necessary, edit the user name and press the OK soft key.
The >> soft key moves the cursor forward. The Del soft key performs a backspace on the
previous letter.
4. If necessary, edit the phone number or extension of the user and press the OK key again.
Use the abc or 123 soft key to alternate between alphabetic input mode and numeric input
mode.
The handset requests confirmation.
5. Press the Save soft key to confirm the edit. The handset emits a confirmation tone and the
display reads Saved for three seconds.
Press the Back soft key to return to the previous menu.

Searching the directory

You can search the local and global directories using the following procedure.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the desired Directory (local or global) and press the Search soft key.
2. Enter contact information to search the given directory for users with identical or similar
names or extensions.
3. Press the OK soft key to begin the search.
Once the search is complete, the display shows the matching entries. For multiple search
results, the best match appears at the top of the list.
