A.9 Electromagnetic Compatibility
European Machinery Directive
The SINAMICS G110M inverter series falls under the scope of the Machinery Directive.
However, the products have been fully evaluated for compliance with the essential Health &
Safety requirements of the directive when used in a typical machine application. A
Declaration of Incorporation is available on request.
European EMC Directive
When installed according to the recommendations described in this manual, the SINAMICS
G110M fulfils all requirements of the EMC Directive as defined by the EMC Product
Standard for Power Drive Systems EN 61800-3
Underwriters Laboratories
UL and CUL RECOGNIZED POWER CONVERSION EQUIPMENT for use in a pollution
degree 2 environment.
SEMI F47
Specification for Semiconductor Process Equipment Voltage Sag Immunity
SINAMICS G110M Inverters fulfill the requirements of the SEMI F47-0706 standard.
ISO 9001
Siemens plc operates a quality management system, which complies with the requirements
of ISO 9001.

The SINAMICS G110M drives have been tested in accordance with the EMC Product
Standard EN 61800-3:2004.

Install all drives in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and in accordance with
