1.5.1 Checkpoints
To carry out a test operation, check the following:
 Check that the temperature setting of the remote controller is at the lowest level in cooling
 Go through the following checklist:
Checkpoints
Are all units securely installed?
Is the ground wire installed according to the applicable
local standard?
Are all air inlets and outlets of the indoor and outdoor units
unobstructed?
Does the drain flow out smoothly?
Is piping adequately heat-insulated?
Have the connections been checked for refrigerant
leakage?
Is the power supply voltage conform to the specifications
on the name plate?
Are the cable sizes as specified and according to local
regulations?
Are the remote controller signals received by the unit?

How to activate test operation
Test Operation and Field Settings

Step Action
1 Turn on the power supply more than 6 hours
before test operation.
2 Open the gas stop valve.
3 Open the liquid stop valve.
4 Press and hold the Cancel button for 4
seconds to enter the Service Settings menu.
5 Use the buttons to select Test Operation
and push the Menu/OK button.
6 Test Operation is displayed on the bottom of
the basic screen.

Push the On/Off button within 10 seconds to
start the test operation.
