Method of A compressor lock is detected by checking the compressor running condition through the position
detection circuit.

Note: If the model doesn't have SPM, replace the outdoor unit PCB.
Service Diagnosis
The system judges the compressor lock, and stops due to over current.
The system judges the compressor lock, and cannot operation with position detection within 15
seconds after start up.
The system will be shut down if the error occurs 16 times.
Clearing condition: Continuous run for about 10 minutes (normal)
Compressor locked
Compressor harness disconnected
Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector,
Caution or parts damage may be occurred.
Turn off the power. Disconnect the
harnesses U, V and W.
Check with the inverter checker (∗).
Normal?
YES
Turn off the power and reconnect
the harnesses. Turn on the power
again and get the system restarted.
Emergency stop
without compressor

replace the SPM.
